Motissala Murphy-Dumas
Snyder Learning Center Assistant Director/Interim Director
Motissala Murphy-Dumas has dedicated over 26 years to nurturing children and supporting families in early childhood education. Her journey includes 20 years with Cumberland County Schools and six years at Snyder Learning Center, where she advanced from School-Age Coordinator to Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree, which she considers one of her greatest accomplishments and a foundation for her ministry of service.
For Motissala, working at Snyder Learning Center is more than a career—it's a calling. She is grateful to serve alongside such wonderful staff, to care for remarkable children, and to partner with the amazing families who trust them with their most precious gifts.

Samantha Norton
Snyder Learning Center School-Age Coordinator
Samantha brings 10 years of experience working with children and a passion for creating meaningful connections with the youth she serves. She holds a Master’s Degree in Child Studies and is excited to bring her experience, creativity, and dedication to Snyder Learning Center’s School-Age Program.
Her goal is to make a lasting impact by providing positive guidance and mentorship while helping children grow, learn, and develop into confident young people. She looks forward to building relationships with our school-age children and families and being a positive part of their journey at Snyder Learning Center.

Every lead teacher holds a degree or credential in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with many having earned their CDA (Child Development Associate) certification. All staff maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, complete comprehensive background checks, and participate in annual professional development focused on child development, social-emotional learning, and best practices in early childhood education.
