Snyder Learning Center Director

With a Bachelor's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education from Fayetteville State University and 20 years in the childcare field, Christina has built her career on a foundation of excellence and genuine love for children. From teacher's assistant to lead teacher, front desk administrator to Assistant Director and now Director, she has gained invaluable insight into every aspect of early childhood education.

Christina is not only an experienced educator but also a devoted wife and mother of four children. This personal experience fuels her commitment to helping every family thrive. She is dedicated to ensuring that each child at Snyder Learning Center receives the quality, loving care they deserve in an environment where they can flourish.

Motissala Murphy-Dumas

Snyder Learning Center Assistant Director

Motissala Murphy-Dumas has dedicated over 26 years to nurturing children and supporting families in early childhood education. Her journey includes 20 years with Cumberland County Schools and six years at Snyder Learning Center, where she advanced from School-Age Coordinator to Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree, which she considers one of her greatest accomplishments and a foundation for her ministry of service.

For Motissala, working at Snyder Learning Center is more than a career—it's a calling. She is grateful to serve alongside such wonderful staff, to care for remarkable children, and to partner with the amazing families who trust them with their most precious gifts.

Our Dedicated Teachers

At Snyder Learning Center, we believe children deserve educators who are both highly qualified and deeply caring. Our teaching team brings both to the table.

Every lead teacher holds a degree or credential in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with many having earned their CDA (Child Development Associate) certification. All staff maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, complete comprehensive background checks, and participate in annual professional development focused on child development, social-emotional learning, and best practices in early childhood education.
